Golf Update: Ritz-Carlton Golf Club and CORPRA golf strikes a deal
The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain, which is a home to the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, has signed a deal with CORPRA golf and according to it; they will be starting a specialized golf instructional series for the current season.
Addressing a press conference in Marana, Arizona, Director of Golf Operations at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Dove Mountain, Jeff McCormick said,
“We are excited to work with Chuck and his team to provide our members and guests with first-class golf instruction. Besides an expertise in golf instruction, the CORPRA golf staff has a remarkable ability to utilize the golf facility as a vehicle for building
relationships in a group setting. "
The purpose of such venture is to enhance the guest experience at the Ritz-Carlton's and expose them to golf. CORPRA golf Academy has been selected for this venture because of its versatility and repute. The academy is known for consistency and high-quality
instruction. Names like Chuck Engel, Jack Nicklaus, Jim Flick, Davis Love Jr., and Bob Toski are linked with this academy.
He further added, “Guest at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club would have a free access to the program. But, the success of the program relied on the number of participants showing up for it. We plan to provide state of art golf facility to our members once- in-
a- lifetime- experience. The same session will be practiced next year, provided we get a healthy response from our guests at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club. ”
The series will start in January at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club. In it, they will provide training to resort guests and club members. The series will be divided into five programs namely; three-day golf schools, private instruction, daily clinics, tailored
programs for focus groups and corporate excursion.
At the end of the training session, the individual will get a complete video analysis of their performance and will get an email link via they will correspondence with their instructors.
