Golf Update: Top Ten Reasons To Hate Tiger Woods (Part 2)
Tiger has always been loved by his fans, family and ladies. Despite all odds there are a huge number of people who find Tiger Woods bizarre. To find out what are the reasons behind the adverse emotion, read the second half of the top ten reasons to hate
Tiger Woods.
No.5 – Tiger complains like a baby
He is a veteran who is 39 years old but despite that, every time he loses, he blames it to some other factor. That losing factor can be his swing, putting, his ex-wife etc. Moreover, if one listens to Tiger Wood talking to the press after a defeat, an observation
will come into notice that he always phrases, “I lost,” rather than “someone defeated me.”
To make it worst, if he loses, he blames it to someone else, and if he wins then the whole credit belongs to him, which only signifies that the 39-year-old professional golfer is never ready to take responsibility for his actions.
Moreover, being a person who lacks communication skills and tactfulness, Tiger is never ready to appreciate the winner of the tournament unless it’s himself. This immature behaviour of his doesn’t end here. Tiger is frequently seen throwing his clubs, showing
middle finger and pumping fist at the shot or at a fellow player. So on the whole he’s a very selfish player, and that's a good reason to hate Tiger Woods.
No.4 - Tiger Woods is an angel, therefore, he can do no wrong
Tiger gets free passes for everything wrong and yet his fans say, “he is an angel, therefore, he can do no wrong.” However, until recently his fans got to know he was cheating on his wife, before the incident Tiger was considered as an icon of perfection.
This tag of perfection was given to him not only by the fans but the media as well. No matter what he does it’s the right decision. If he’s lagging in the third round on a particular Saturday, then the media acclaims that he’s going to surge up the leader board
on Sunday. Moreover, if he’s naturally ahead in lead, then a statement will be seen in bold that, the rest of the field has little-to-no chance as Tiger is the best.
There’s no question that Tiger has earned freeway for negligence, but the media is very biased when it comes to his behaviour.
No.3 - Tiger Woods wins all the time
He is the headline for every magazine and every news column. Well, this is good as he has worked really hard in the beginning to earn it, but it’s the same story every time. For once in a blue moon, the public likes to cheer on the little guy, who managed
to confront the might Tiger Woods, and as a result gets squashed by him. Regardless, the result is the same spicy news, only exposing the known greatness of the player.
No.2 - Woods IS dry
It is easily understood that Tiger lacks communication skills, but the truth is he lacks humour as well. Listen to his last interview to the press and you will notice that it is the same story every time and that too without emotions. Apart from making discriminating
gestures, Tiger has nothing to offer to people around him. As it stands, Woods is a Rolodex of golf clichés.
No.1 - Tiger Woods IGNORES his fans
“Like Caddie, like Tiger Woods,” when Steve Williams throws a photographer’s camera in the water, the first assumption is Tiger must have asked him to do so.
The reason to support this assumption comes from his behaviour with the fans. For instance, he does not bother fans following him around 6000 yards of the field, and if someone comes to him for an autograph, then he won’t even bother signing it. Yes, he
is involved in a lot of charity work, but he would not answer the query of a fan who has just deposited funds as a charity, in his bank account. What can be worse than this?
So far, these are the only reasons which apparently stand true for loathing Tiger Woods. No doubt, he is one of the finest players of the world, but he needs to work on his interpersonal skills that are one of the essentials required to survive in this world.
Rest, he is loved by humongous number of people, so to find out what are the top ten reasons for loving Tiger Woods, read the article “Top Ten Reasons To Love Tiger Woods” only on Bettor.com
