Hey everytime I'm driving the ball will slice to the right about 100-120 yards out. How can I fix this?

And its only when I'm driving not when I'm doing anything else

  1. If you could hit the ball straight, you would have many years of tremendous golf shots in your future.

If you do something about your swing right now, then not only can you avoid wasting more Time, Effort, and Money on repairing or playing with your golf slice...  you can be on your way to having fun when you play and shooting LOW scores!

And the best news of all... there is a golf swing guide out there that can eliminate your slice, and change your life... allowing you to feel satisfied and fulfilled after a round of golf!

  2. Hey dude, I often used to do this. The main reason was I was standing to far away causing an obvious slice from hitting the toe of the club. The other reason being my club face was facing slightly to the right and  if neither of these are the reason its more than likely your stance and which way your toes are pointing. You should hit the range mate, good luck.

  3. Its probably because you have your club faced to the right. its called having your club open. its very common. so it will go more to the right. if you set your club more to the center then it will go straighter.

    hope that helps

  4. Well im 13 years old and know a whoal lot about golf. Ishoot about a 90.

if ur drriver is a stif flex that might be the problem. if ur swing speed isnt all that fast or under avrage you need A shaft with less stifness.

with a stiff flex shaft your hands might NOT be getting through the ball correctley thus makeing your ball go right

((this problem already happened to me..))     =) HOPE THIS HELPS

  5. i use to do this, i would be wrapping the club over myself and that made me push it to the right. And another reason why it could be that you are standing to far from the ball. i did this to i was trying to hit the ball far so i pushed it to the right. it doesn't take power to hit it, the club does the work for you. and your grip might be opening the grip make your top thumb be pointing straight ahead

  6. The club face has to be squared at impact with an on-plane swing.  You probably have an outside-in swing, concentrate on inside-out while you're swinging.

    Good Luck

  7. You basically have a swing flaw when hitting your driver......the best tip I can give you is to see a Pro.....to identify and correct this....If the rest of your game is as good as you say...then the fix will be quick and painless.

  8. Close the clubface a little bit, and make sure that your ball position is at the back of the front heel (left heel if you're a righty and vice versa).

  9. I suggest a lesson or two with a golf pro.  It is not all that expensive and he can watch your swing and tell you what you are doing wrong and help you correct it.  My husband was having a terrible time slicing and shanking all over the place and it was starting to make him not enjoy the game.  He went and took 3 lessons from a local golf pro, the pro found out what he was doing wrong, helped him correct the problem and now his ball flies straight and true, as long as he doesn't fall back into old habits.  Check at your local golf courses and driving range.

  10. Let's see....it could be...a weak grip, improper stance, swinging outside in, falling back instead of through your swing, looking up,and so on.  So since I can't see your swing, it is rather difficult to suggest a cure, and trust me, you won't find it in a paragraph or two.

Call one of your local golf courses, or go by, and seek out a golf pro who can take you to the range, watch your swing and will know how to help you.  And, it will not be in one lesson!!!!

Patience and Practice.  But don't continue to go to the range and practice all the wrong things.  When you are ill, you go see a doctor.  When your swing is "ill" functioning....go see the golf pro.

  11. change your grip to a strong one. left hand turned open for a right hander. And focus on swinging on an inside to up path. And dont try to kill the ball either.

  12. Try adjusting your foot placement when addressing the ball; move back to see if that solves your problem, them move forward and do the same. At the same time, check to make sure that your swing is true; that is, that your swing is straight and that you're not coming across your body on the down swing in a diagonal manner to put a spin on the ball.

  13. rotate your top hand so that the back of your hand is facing upward... i have this same problems sometimes and it works a charm... if that does not help then aim a little more left off the tee... and after that if it still cuts right see if your driver has to much whip on it

  14. Rotate the club in your hands (when gripping it) to close the face of the club more on impact.   Practice this on the driving range, and you should see some improvement.

  15. practise driving at a range. What u need to do is hit the ball straight on so it doesn't curve late.
