  1. thats what i shoot, sometimes lower and im on my high school team

  2. well i shoot like 75 -80 on average and im on my high school team so yeah they probably werent lyingto you when they told you high 70's mid 80's   good luck though

  3. Personally I think it is best to stick to your middle school team to ease your way up to the high school level. I am 14 and am number 2 on my team. From the tips on my tryout course, I shot even through all 27 of the holes we played. It gets a lot more competitive as a highschooler. If you want to, then go ahead.

  4. Maybe the first few times I played I shot in the 100's like at 10 or 12.... started playing at 14 right before high school started... 9th grade averaged 83... 10th  78.... 11th  74  and 12th 72.4 ....  72.4 and I was 3rd on the team...3rd in the conference.... we finished 2nd in the state that year (12th in 1993) and played very poorly.

  5. there must not be a whole lot of good golfers on the jv team considering they shoot in the 90's and 100's.  And for the tourney's thats good for that age, but where im at, the two top players on varsity were shooting mid to low 70's when they were in 7th grade, so if you keep practicing you can probably shoot low 80's to high 70's.
