  1. I would get a cheapy set until such time as I know what to look for ... took me close to 4 years before I bought a complete set. For your slice, might I suggest off-set clubs?

  2. Callaway X20's would be my personal recommendation

  3. I would get one of those square drivers because it is almost impossible to slice it.  You're more likely to push it right or pull it left.  Iron wise, get something that is forged.  Mizuno MX-25 or MP-57, Nike Pro Combo OS, Titleist 775CB, etc.  I have hit forged irons for 6 of the 8 years I've played.  I swear by them.  A pure shot is so sweet.

  4. from my experience .Ive played with a lot of people who would brag about their 300 dollar driver and their 1200 dollar costume clubs and how they were going to out drive me or beat me by 10 on the tee.then by the 3rd hole they are throwing the 300 dollar driver cussing up a storm while I'm beating them with a set of wal-Mart clubs.point is don't spend a lot of money.just go have fun,it will take a very long time, that's if,you get good enough where as the expensive clubs will help.

  5. Callaway are the most forgiving club.  Not sure they can cure a slice but I would get the x20's or a used set of x18 or x16's
