Golf club for my 20 month old??

Question

I know it sounds crazy but my 20 month old son swings and hits the golf ball already. The problem is the club. I bought him the plastic ones but there to light. I also bought him an actual club from golf mart that supposedly is for age 3 and under but the club feels like its heavier than mine?? I need a real club that will fit him but doesnt weigh a ton. Anybody have any suggestions??

How about bringing the age three club to a local machine shop to drill out a dozen holes in the club?  Would take out a lot of weight while still being a metal club.  It might end up looking like an early 1800s sand wedge.

I'd suggest going to your local golf shop and having a club made for him. It would be very easy for a golf professional to cut down a normal size club and regrip it. Relatively inexpensive to have done as long as you provide a club you feel fit for your son. Great to see you starting him so young. Best of luck.
