Golf course dress code help!!?

ok so i have a golf torunament but i ahve no pants or shorts to wear, however i have courdoroy pants does that work??

I only wear corduroy during winter time but not in the summer time Co's you will sweat alot. Try to buy khaki pants or nice shorts. Just go to Walmart or Kohl's for your attire. You don't those expensive ones. Good Luck!

its fine as long as its what the dress code says like one of them said just make sure its what they think its acceptable. i suggest a skirt or just pants any color.

Of course courdoroy pants are fine. You don't even have to wear pants, just khaki shorts are fine, what people hate the most is jeans. Nice pants and a collared shirt. If you dont want to wear a collared shirt then just a nice shirt, usually a collared shirt is a must for a guy. But as long as you wear a nice shirt you'll be fine.

What did you wear before the tournament when you played?  This can't be your first time hitting the links, at least I truly hope it isn't since it's a tourney you're playing in!

Seriously though, courdoroy pants will work however you may not want to wear these type of pants considering the weather.  

The last thing you want to be is uncomfortable and hot in these courdoroy pants when you're trying to play.

If I were you, I'd make a stop at the mall and pick up some docker type shorts to play in for the tourney.

I would not wear courdoroy or jeans.   Buy some khaki pants and you'll look fine.

I work at a golf course and I see people everyday out playing. As long as you are not wearing blue jeans anything is acceptable. I would think if the pants you have are brown or tan or some shade of that nature they will be perfect.

You can wear a skirt and blouse so long as they are allowed by the dress code.No need for shorts and sleeveless whatever you call them.

Yep that should work I usually wear tan pants when playing in tournaments.

Most golf courses require a collared shirt or blouse and a nice pair of slants or skirt.  No jeans are allowed and you may not be allowed to play on the course if you wear them.

Depending on the weather courdoroy may not work well.  If it is hot, the courdoroy could become uncomfortable, it raining or damp courdoroy can become sticky.

You usually are required to wear golf shoes with soft spikes.  You can slip pretty easy on the golf course and insurance issues come into play.  

Look neat and clean.  Most importantly, have a great time.
