im doing a CAREER report on golf. i need some questions answered. even if you dont know all of the answers, just answer some!!

It really depends on what kind of career you are talking about. There are many careers related to golf. there are groundskeepers that take care of the course and keep everything green and keep the course in good playing condition. There are Instructors that teach the game of golf. There are people who sell equipment, people that make or repair equipment. Caddies. It really helps to narrow it down to which one you are looking for. However, if you are talking about playing professionally then the skills that are needed are a good swing. ability to read course conditions. good aim. understanding of how different clubs and different techniques affect ball flight. It helps to have strength, flexibility, coordination, and patience. There are different options to play professionally. In the US the common options are The PGA Tour which is the top level of men's golf and the next lower lever is the Nationwide Tour. For golfers over 50 there is the option to play on the Champions Tour and for women there is the LPGA. People also can play on Canadian or European Tours. There are other Professional options as well and it is played in many different environments and surroundings that are only limited by our creativity. As far as how much money can be made it all depends on where you play, how many tournaments you play, and how well you play. Playing professionally is a performance based income so while some only make a few thousand in a year, some make millions. There will likely be an need for professional golfers in the future and there will definately be a need for other careers in golf. Golf has become an extremely popular game that anyone can play so there will always be a need for people to work in the golf industry. Look at these sites:
