  1. I would have to say go full chord, they are better in the rain anyway.

  2. youre asking the wrong questions here in your sweaty palms situation...

    SOLUTION:

Carry more golf gloves.  5,6, even 7 of em'! ...

You wont look like an idiot putting a new, dry glove on every few holes, trust me.

  3. Full Cord is the way to go.

  4. I have never found a Cheap grip that was worth a penny.  full chord grips are tough to find now days and they have a tendency to be a bit tough on the hands. They are however the most grip worthy grips ever made.  I'd agree with Googie on a damp towel to clean the grip before every shot and a glove.

  5. Hi,

Full cords - although it will take several weeks for the skin on your palms to become used to the abuse.

    Hope this helps.

  6. First of all carry a dry towel with a damp end and clean the grip of the club prior to using it. The pros do it on every shot. Also wear a golf glove which may help. Finally you may have to go to a full cord grip which is bad for the hands but great for holding on to the club.

  7. you can try a first before you leave the house wash our hands with ajax , comet or something like that to help cut down your finger  oil .and on the market is a full cord grip and a half cord grip .there is a product I have seen that you wash our hands with his post to take the finger all oil make your hands dry you can try that .

  8. If your grips are fairly new then I would suggest that you wash them with a cleaning brush in soap and water ,that will help bring back the tacky feel to them . You may also try a product called Gorilla Grip it works really well. my final suggestion is to buy a set of rain gloves as they get tacky when they are wet , I live in a very humid area and i find that they work very well.

  9. I had the same problem and switched to Golf Pride tour velvet full cord. I haven't slipped in years.

Another grip that everyone raves about is Golf Pride multi-compound cord, it's a little bit more expensive, but the top part of the grip is cord for control and the bottom is rubber for good feel.

GP tour velvet non cord is also a great grip for sweaty hands you can find them all at really good prices on

  10. A rubber grip would work fine i would think. they arent the easiest on your hands but i have the same problem and the rubber grips work fine for me.
