  1. First, do not go and buy a set of clubs. Find and instructor and take some lessons, they will provide the clubs. Once you have had lessons, go to a course to play a game. It's best if you play with someone who knows how. You can rent clubs at the course. Don't invest in clubs before you find out if you like the game.

  2. Buy an inexpensive starter and consider taking some lessons.  If you take lessons when you first start, it might help prevent you from getting into bad habits with your swing.  I wish I would've taken lessons when I first started.

  3. Buy a cheap set that you find at a garage sale. Don't spend good money on expensive clubs until you learn how to play better & figure out what kind of clubs you truely like. Golf can get real expensive, so keep your costs down as much as possible until you see if you even want to play the game. Some people hate the game.

  4. The best thing you can do is to find a Golf Professional and take some lessons. I know some Professionals that offer a lesson series, which is usually 4 lessons and they cover every aspect of the game. A good Professional will also provide clubs for these lessons and once you have taken the lessons they can recommend what type of clubs you should be playing. Golf can be a frustrating sport...so just stick with it, get the proper instruction and Good Luck!

  5. get sum forgiving clubs..... like old versions of cobra and Nike and callaway. go 2 eBay. get a few clubs like a driver 5 wood 7 iron pitching wedge sand wedge and putter. that should be fine for awhile. Take ur time, have Patience, and HAVE FUN!!!!

  6. By the basic clubs such as Driver, 3 Wood, 4,5,or

6 iron, pitching wedge, and putter. Take some

lessons, go to the driving range a few times, and

    just have fun!!!

  7. it's not the clubs, take lessons and then buy what you need. best clubs and a bad swing still don't mix

  8. Go buy a cheap set at a store.  Dont buy anything expensive until you know that you really want to play golf.  Golf can make you really frustrated at times.  Good Luck!!!
