what is the ACTUAL differnce between the titleist PRO V1 and PRO V1X?

the pro v x is a harder ball and so gets less spin the pro v is a touch softer and easier to spin back on the green

ProV1X provides less spin off the driver face (332 dimples) keeping you straighter and longer than the regular ProV. The regular ProV is a little more inclined to spin and stop with a short iron or wedge (392 dimples). Both feel pretty soft around the greens.

X is harder ball guys-----non  X will spin more but both have exceptional playing quality. The pro v1x would be used by someone with a higher sing speed. The pro v1 by someone would wanted better than average distance off the tee coupled with good spin control 125 yards in. I play both depending on course conditions. Both are 4 layered balls with the X having a harder mantle.

To choose if need to control the ball  on the green ie get it to check up on the green rather than release to pro v1 series is good for you. Between X and regular would depend on your swing speed. 105 plus with driver ( 250 yard CARRY) and you probably can go to X. You will have a bit less spin on the ball and more rollout on the long shots. If you use the X with a lower swing speed your carry will suffer (total distance) and you will lose some spin control on your mid irons.

If you want to be sure hit some balls of both types on a launch monitor.

Did you know that titlist and pinnacle are made by the same company??

They are basic the same ball. They are made in the same factory with the same materials.

Keep that in mind when deciding to pay $50.00 for a dozen balls and $15.00 for 15 balls.

V1x is SOFTER and EASIER to spin.
