  1. Not saying you didn't and if you did I would think the odds are almost impossible!

Just a question though.  Do you know what qualifies as a hole in one? I'm being serious as there are certain conditions governing a hole in one.  For example a hole in one on a mashi course (all par threes) doesn't count. Nor does an incomplete 18 as far as I remember and there can't be more than a certain numbr of par threes in any 18 holes.

I don't know why this is all so because if the ball goes in it goes in and should be counted as far as I am concerned.

By the way I am 53 and I have had 2.

Four is unreal so well done.  Were they all good shots or was there a bad shot that went in?

When will the next one be??

  2. It has to be more than 100,000 to 1! Very, very hard to do, so congratulations. I was reading a story in www.golfbuckscounty.com recently where it noted an amateur golfer had a 1-in-12,500 shots chance of getting a hole in one. It noted that luck is very important, because even the most skilled golfer might never get one.

Jack Nicklaus has about 20, so you are 20% of the way toward his hole-in-one count! I think Tiger Woods was listed as 16 or so. I know he had one on national television in Phoenix, and I saw Nicklaus get one on TV as well.

    Congrats!
