Golf team... random question?

Question

planning to tryout for the school golf team next year. im 13 and i shoot in the mid 90's. i have heard that i can make the golf team now(from friends that have tryed out) and i still have a year of practice. just wondering what do you do with your clubs when you practice after school? where do you put them? do you bring them to school with you? or do you have to get someone to bring them after school for you? both my parents work during the day so i dont know if they could take them.

I drive to the course with my clubs. Maybe if you have a friend with a car, you could car pool.

I wasn't on my high school golf team, but I was on the bowling team and had a similar problem.  The Athletic Director let us keep our bags in his office during the day, and then we brought them to the alley later either on the sports bus or in cars if we carpooled.  I bet you can do the same thing.

My school district had a rule that you couldn't carry baseball bats, lacrosse sticks, or golf clubs on the bus, even in a sports bag.  They're weapons, supposedly.  You should call your school's transportation office and find out if you're even allowed to bring them on the bus.  You may need to find a friend with a car.

Maybe get your parents to drop your clubs off at the place where you are going to practice on their way to work. Good Luck with the school team.

You need to ask your coach, first.  Are your lockers big enough to store your clubs?  Are you driving to the course to practice with your parents or someone else?  They can keep your clubs in car so you have them when you play.

Some schools have storage areas in athletic department where you can keep your stuff until you play, if you are leaving from school in a group.  No offense, but you ARE 13; old enough to figure this one out....LOL

hey im 13 also i know for a fact that you take your clubs too school and put them in the little storage closet and when its time for pratice you get your clubs and the bus takes you where the team is going but when you drive theres no more busses

You would bring them to school and put them in your locker during the day.  If the lockers are not big enough, then you should be able to store them in the coach's room or office until practice.

You can ask your school athletic Director ask him/her where can you put/store your golf club during the school hrs. I think one of your parents have to sacrifice to bring you clubs after school. Bringing your golf clubs in the school bus is no fun.  Good Luck!
