second round of match play with a 137 for two rounds, the victor being Phillip Francis.
In 2007, representing the U.S., Rickie Fowler teamed up with the American player Billy Horschel at Walker Cup to gain two victories ( 2-0 ) in foursomes and a final score of 3-1 after attaining a 1-1 in singles. Further in 2007,
Fowler won the Sunnehanna Amateur in June and the Players Amateur in July. Just a year later, Fowler defended his title at the Sunnehanna Amateur Open.
That same year, Rickie made one of his best scores when he shot a -1 (70) bringing him up for a tie in 7th place sharing the spot with Derek Fathauer and Michael Thompson at the U.S. Open. Playing superbly in the first
round, he was one of the three amateurs to make the cut. Fowler tied for 60th at that tournament. A year later in 2009, Rickie played on the Eisenhower Trophy and came in second place. Appearing in the walker Cup, Fowler won all the matches he played
hence assisting the American team in winning the Cup. During all his matches, Fowler paired with Bud Cauley.
2009 was when Fowler made his professional debut as he played the Albertsons Boise Open on the Nationwide Tour. In September 2009, there was news of Fowler signing a multi-year equipment deal with Titleist as well as Puma for clothing.

of his four rounds and an eloquent score of 18 under par which is inclusive of a hole in one on the fifth hole in his final round. With such an impressive performance, Fowler was bound to attain the 2010 PGA Tour card.
This year, Rickie finished second at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Another runner up finish was at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin Ohio. Entering the final round, Rickie managed to post a 73 and hence finished behind Justin
