  3. Please stop!

  4. No, but i carry a birds nest in case I get an Eagle or maybe Albatross

  5. If I had a £1 for every time I'd heard that joke...

  6. what if you get a hole in 3?  better bring 2 extra pair

  7. Along with some bread in case I get a birdie!

  8. Getting a hole in one wouldn't require a change of socks.

In fact if anyone was lucky enough to get a hole in one, changing their socks would be the last thing they would think about.

In fact the tradition is to buy drinks for all in the club house. I think that is far better than changing socks.

  9. No, but I carry an extra pair to change them if I'm playing multiple rounds.  If you are playing, especially on a hot day, and plan to play more than 18 holes (27, 36, etc) it's a great idea to change your socks.  The dry socks on your feet feel fantastic and give you an energy boost.

  10. Yes and some pep pills in case I'm feeling under Parr!
