Golfers the crowd just love - Part I
During the current year 2010, Tiger Woods has had a rather tough tenure. If we take a look at his entire career, he has faced the worst time of his life, with missing cuts and not being able to hold any wins in his hands. His past games may have been able to win many hearts but one thing he hasn’t been able to do is to show his fan friendliness. Tens and millions of people across the world have been in love with Woods game but now that they know the kind of a man he truly is, many have started respecting those who truly care for their fans. Below are the most fan-friendly golfers on the PGA Tour.
At the bottom of the top ten is Stewart Clink. The man doesn’t have anything particularly striking about him, but the fact that most people can easily relate to him makes him quite fan friendly. Clink has a way of minding his own business on the field which is exactly what most fans love. The thirty seven year old is quite able to show his emotions when  the need arises though, and certainly knows how to display them in the most critical times.  Clink has an exceptionally well spoken attitude and understands that the presence of fans on the golf course has led to an exceptional increase in the game itself.
The ninth place on the most fan-friendly golfers list has Bubba Watson in its wake. Watson is a self-taught golfer and has recently become a fan favourite. Watson has a history of playing at the Faulkner state Community in Alabama which was before he placed himself in the University of Georgia. In 2000, Watson led the Bulldogs to an SEC Championship while he was at the University of Georgia.
What fans mostly love about Watson is his ability to wear a constant smile on his face while he strolls the fairway weekend after weekend. He usually interacts with the fans on and off the golf course and has still been able to keep his roots true in his hometown Bagdad, Florida and keeps playing in an extremely down-to-earth manner.
At the eighth spot, Woody Austin stands rather invisible, ever since his 2007 second place finish at the PGA Championship. His fame is also mostly due to his fastidious attitude rather than his game.  He is known as a man who walks with his emotions out in the open. His fans have seen him exclaiming delightfully after victories and presenting a worked up attitude in case of failures. Austin is a payer who will make sure to throw a ball or tip the cap to the crowd which they obviously love. Austin has the quality with which the crowd can actually relate.
At number seven Rich Beem acts as a ray of joy for many fans. He is the winner of the 2002 PGA Championship whose name is still present vaguely in many minds. He is certainly a blast from the past when his name is recalled. But what makes the fan go all gaga when his name is mentioned is because of two things; his defeating Tiger Woods in his Major and his dance after the win. His victory not only bought forward his amazing skills in golf but gave birth to a highly creative dance display which is basically the main reason why he is on the list of fan-friendly golfers. Beem knows what it’s like to be on the other side of the green watching the game; he used to work as a cell-phone salesman.
