  1. The golfing is expensive.

  2. Any course that is over 10 years old , except for the obvious premium courses, are getting very inexpensive. Also, check for twilight rates.

  3. Try Googling these courses:

    1.  Heron Point - Inexpensive and not a "Goat Ranch"

    2.  The Witch - One of my favorites - about $69 for 18 holes and refills for your soda are $.25 all day!

    3.  Wicked Stick - A Jon Daly course right on Rt. 17 - Haven't played it but heard it's OK for the price

You can also save your pennies for one last blast and play Caledonia for a mere $169 - $180 per round.  I"ve heard it's almost worth it.

    Hit 'em straight.

  4. Try a course called the Seagull, its nice and cheap.

First thing I would do is go to this big golf store there called "Martin's Golf and Tennis."  The store has some coupons for reduced greens fee's, some are like a credit card you purchase, and some are just at the front of the store in displays.  Plus its a great store, anything you want for golf.
