I'm not actually a golfer... I just play Hot Shots Golf.... heheh... but seriously I am curious....

  1. Ace-Hole in one (can happen on par 3s, 4s, and 5s unlike what one of the guys above me said)

    Double Eagle-3 under par

    Eagle-2 under par

    Birdie-1 under par

Par-How many stroke it should take to finish the hole

    Bogey-1 over par

    Double Bogey-2 over par

    Triple Bogey-3 over par

    4 over par

    5 over par

    ......

    ......

    ......

  2. An ace is also called a hole in one.  A double eagle usually occurs on a par 5.  A person holes out on his second shot(hits it in the hole).  It is also called an albatross, but mainly in Europe.

  3. ACE=HOLE IN ONE

DOUBLE EAGLE=3 UNDER PAR ON A HOLE, SCORING A HOLE IN ONE ON A PAR 4, HOLING YOUR 2ND SHOT ON A PAR 5

  4. An ace is when you make it in the hole from your tee shot. More than likely gonna happen on a par 3. A double eagle is when you shoot 2 under par for the hole. I hope  this helps you understand....

sorry what i meant by 2 was 3.. my bad.

  5. The guy above me is correct however the double eagle is also called an "albatros".

  6. The guy above me is partially correct.

An 'Ace' is a hole-in-one on a par three.

A 'Double Eagle' is THREE under par on a par five. Basically it means you've holed out your 2nd shot on a par five.....
