Golfsmith plans to open its first retail outlet in Delaware
Golfsmith, the world-renowned retail brand, is now opening its first retail store in Delaware and will mark one of the largest experimental retail stores in the state.
Owned by the Golfsmith International Holdings, Inc., the store will be first of its kind retail store in the state which will provide cutting-edge technology to its subscribers, ensuring world class biomechanics and high-tech golf hitting simulators.
Golfsmith, which introduced the custom-made clubs back in the year 1967 and has mastered the art of providing Custom-fitted golf clubs to its customers, will also be providing the said facility in their new experimental store.
This will ensure bulk of customers to its sprawling chain of golf stores located at 60 Geoffrey Drive off Churchman Road just north of Christiana Mall.
This will be the 85th retail store of Golfsmith around the nation.
Speaking to the press, the Golfsmith CEO Marty Hanaka said:
"Golfsmith's experiential concept will make most customers' jaws drop. Our arrival in Delaware signals a new standard in retail to help golfers play better and enjoy the game more. We are a golfer's paradise offering a huge product selection with the best equipment from brands like Titleist, PING, Callaway, TaylorMade, Mizuno and MacGregor. We encourage customers to 'try before they buy,' right in the store”.
The retailer is also offering lucrative deals for the first 500 customers who will be eligible for certain extra benefits for purchasing from the store.
They will be entitled to absolutely free - a $20 Golfsmith card, a free two-pack of golf balls or a round of golf at Deerfield Golf Club. The customers will also be entitled to sign up for a draw amounting to $10,000 including drivers, iron sets, bags, balls, apparel etc.
The 45-year-old Golf equipment retailer is one of the largest in the nation offering wide range of facilities to its customers who can buy from any of its 85 outlets all over the nation through the website.
It also has the accolade of bringing the cutting-edge technology to the novice golfers who are otherwise unaware of their lacunae in the sport. Golfsmith provides in-store return facility to its customers upon their request.
