well that depends on how much space you have to spare. i would go with a rectangular type one tho. good for practicing flip turns.

Are you a square or round person?  Free flowing?  Pools are costed and sold by perimeter feet, the measure at the waterline around the pool and back to the start, depth is an adder.  With perimeter feet you can have many different shapes that are all the same perimeter feet.

360 sq feet surface area is typical of many 15 x 30' pools.
