El Pipita revealed his desire to spend time with boyhood club River Plate in the future after a smallish stint at the beginning of his footballing career.
When Real Madrid come calling there are few players who can say no, Gonzalo Higuain is one of the former as he agreed to a move to the Santiago Bernabeu at the tender age of 18. The Argentine has not looked back since and is a first team regular in the Spanish capital.

While responding to questions in an interview, El Pipita stated that he feels he did not spend enough time in the Buenos Aires –based club’s first team and would love to return.
As the conversation took a turn, Higuain voiced his love for Argentinean customs and also admitted that he is observant of the pretty girls in the Iberian Peninsula.
"I had a short stint at River and it would be rewarding to return."

While reflecting on what goes on in the Santiago Bernabeu dressing room, Higuain revealed that it becomes complicated when footballing stars collected from across the globe are at the same place.
Nonetheless, whatever is his company, Higuain remarked that with his passive nature he has zero trouble with any of his colleagues.
"In the large array of stars at Real Madrid, everything is more complicated, but I am zero trouble, I'm very passive.”

"I am privileged to play with these two [Messi and Ronaldo]. I am proud to play with them for the national team and for Madrid."
