Question:

Goo in my cactus plant...?

Alright..

When I went outside to check on my cactuses there were these really odd globs of clear gel sitting on top of the soil in it. I really have no clue where this could have come from or what it is. I thought maybe it was dropped into the pots, but it was only in two cactuses, and nowhere else, not on the ground. Nowhere.

Any help on the would be appreciated.

Thanks.

  1. it might be the cactus, inside of a cactus, theres tons of that goo, is is possible there is a hole in the cactus?? it might be, bugs might be eating it. so theres probably nothing wrong with them :)

  2. maybe the cactus plants are sweating?

  3. Have you seen any cactus beetles on the cactus?  The beetles bore holes that cause the cactus to ooze the goo.
