  1. Forget sunbathing. It is very wet just now with quite high winds. It snowed in the hills a couple of weeks ago.

I would look for somewhere to stay in Palma this time of year.

  2. Sunbath? I don't think so. It's raining in these days and it's quite cold.

  3. forget sunbath, since a few days it's 15 degrees, windy and raining but the weather is changing fast, now is the best time to get cheap place to stay. You have to go near palma, because most of the other tourist places are closed. The hotels here close in lower season. try playa de palma, there is the grupotel playa de palma, it's good 4 * hotel with cheap rates in lower season (i think about 50 € room per night), if you go get hotel the center of palma it's more expensive, but you don't need car or public transportation for sight seeing or clubbing. so up to you   join this beautiful island

  4. For the best prices on accommodation at the last minute check out these directories which hotels and apartments subscribe to :

    Mallorca :

    http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.uk/Spain...

    Palma :

    http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.uk/Spain...

You can also check the facilities of those locations

  5. the best deals are from Liverpool to palma nova or magaluf.

i go quite regularly. dry days are warm 20c nights cold 5c

and if it rains it rains.

sunbathe? its like being on the beach in an english summer.

get out of the wind and its glorious.

  6. I would expect most places to be quite inexpensive right now as it is definitely the low season- mainly because it's not the best time for sunbathing/beaches/clubbing.  I doubt there's much going on there right now.  My husband goes fishing in Ibiza and says that it was basically abandoned when he stayed over a week or so ago.

If you're lucky, the rain and wind will stop- in which case, on a sunny day, it still can be relatively warm during the day at this time of the year.  Heck, I've seen some people sunbathing in January- although I personally wouldn't, but there are occasionally days that are warm enough during the winter.   The nights will be cool either way, though, so be prepared with some warm clothes.  Unfortunately the weather hasn't been good lately, and it has been quite cool out.

If you get bored on the islands, you can always take a ferry over and visit us in Denia. ;)

  7. Check SpinCityTravel.com go to book travel and type in Mallorca. There are hundreds of deals.

  8. at the minute the weather is around 18-20' c, so you can sunbathe, wont bo boiling but will be warm compared to UK. stay in palma nova or magaluf, they are the best paces to stay and close to the airport. you can stay in a few hotels fro under £200 either self catering or half board. check out portland direct or thomson holidays. have a fab time, i will be going next June! Sol Magaluf Park. eat in tom browns to in magaluf. lovely !! mmm
