Question:

Good, sappy song for a 'farewell' slideshow?

I'm making a slideshow of pictures of a co-worker and friends for their retirement party. Any ideas for background music to the slides?

Please do NOT suggest 'Good Riddance' by Green Day, as I have already used this for previous going-away parties.

The sappier, well-known ones work best. Oldies ('60-'80) are also good.

Any ideas will be appreciated, thanks!

  8. My sister made a slideshow once and she used the main theme from Forrest Gump. It's the song that plays when the feather is floating. It was perfect for the slideshow and it always brings a little tear to my eye.

Another good one is 'Remember Me This Way' by Jordan Hill from the Casper Soundtrack.
