Good Beginner Electric guitar for price?

I know that the epiphone les paul special 2 is cheap,but people are saying that its good for its price.This would be my second guitar and i could be considered an experienced beginer?lol.well any1 have a better idea?a good guitar for the price?

your best bet is to get a used guitar. i would look for something with cosmetic damage. if you are looking to learn to play the guitar good action and tone are most important. you can get a good quality guitar for a entry level price, if you don't mind some dings and scratches. beware of worn out frets, this can be expensive to repair. shop around and pick one that feels good in your hands and sounds good to your ears.
