Good Books for a teen school project?

Question

I have to do a school project for senior english, and the teacher is letting us choose our book. I want something interesting, maybe a book about highschool, or something.... not too ungodly long, maybe 200-400 pages. Something easy to summarize and do a project on.

I recommend this book my mom showed me called Little Brother. It is about high school kids defending the Constitution against Homeland Security.

I bet your teacher would love the tie in to the Constitution.

Ummm, well. I used the book Twilight in a project of mine. but if it has to be up to 200-400 pgs then u cant use it cuz its 498 pages (not including the other pages that tell you about the next book...) it is pretty long but it's a wonderful book.

these are both good ones and should be read in life. Probably assigned in school also.
