Good Camcorder or video camrea?

ok me and my friend whant to make some short videos about what we do together,kinda like a mini reality show to share with our friends . so we whant a good video camera or camcorder (i don't know the difrence? if there is one.) that i can edit without having to convert a buch of files first, and i whant it to have an sd memery card slot that can hook up to the computer easily. for under 100 bucks, thanks
