Good Car insurance for a young driver In MA

Question

I am 16 1/2 years old, just got my liscence and am now purchasing a car. I do not have a parent I can sign on with, is it possible to sign up on my own? If so In Western MA, what would a good insurance company for coverage and costs be?

Just make sure you are smart about your choice.  There are a bunch of ways to cut the cost through any insurance company.  Do your homework before you buy.  I suggest starting at a site like this

then going to the individual company sites and comparing quotes.

For auto insurance the most efficient way to get a great rate is do a policy comparison on car policies. Make certain that you compare similar options with the same deductibles, car model, location, etc so that all options are a good comparison.



What I usually recommend is an online comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have discount insurers and will give many prices on auto insurance polices.

But to find a cheap price you should get several quotes, do some legwork till something better will come along.

I doubt you will be able to get a loan for a car if you are only 16.

You can't get your own insurance policy at your age either.

I would try Geico or Progressive. They are usually the cheapest for young drivers.
