Good Colleges in Ireland?

I'm 16 years old and I don't know what college to go to. I really want it to be out of the country because I love to travel. I have a little Irish in me, and I think it would be cool if I got to see where my ancestors lived. Does anyone know a really good college in Ireland(not Northern Ireland, but the Ireland, Ireland)? Thanks for reading my question.

  1. UDC

    DCU

  2. trinity college, dublin or UCD ( university college dublin ) both have great reputations!!

  3. u  need  to  specify  what  area  u  want  to  study  in.    whats  been  said  so  far  is  true.

    http://www.learningireland.ie/

  4. The Republic of Ireland? Try the NUI colleges. But you might be a little late, I believe the initial applications deadline might have passed. Just google 'university+college'. Be aware that there is a distinction between 'school' and 'third level education' here - in Ireland and everywhere else in Europe, most of the time you finish school BEFORE going on to third level education.

As a US citizen, you don't apply for subsidisation from the Irish government for your education, so you will have to pay the full rate in addition to your living expenses. The full rate per student per academic is something like €8,000 for an Arts (Humanities) course, don't know about medicine or any of those special equipment ones.

  5. Im irish

its in the top 50 colleges of the world.

    university college dublin/galway/cork/limerick are next.
