  4. Tess Gerretson is awesome, isn't she?

Try Iris Johansen, James Patterson, Alex Kava, Kathy Reichs, Karin Slaughter, Lisa Gardner, Michael Connelly,

  5. Some good authors:

Ian Rankin - fantastic - earlier Rebus books slightly less well written than later ones, of course, but still fantastic

Martina Cole - more gangster-based, lots of crime, prostitutes...fantastic

    Ruth Rendell - for thrillers

Minette Walters is a fantastic author to look into - Fox Evil and Acid Row are two particular ones I'd recommend though anything you can get your hands on of hers is fantastic; really well written books. X

  6. I don't know the author you mention but i can recommend Lee Child, Harlan Coben, Michael Connelly and Martine Cole.

  7. Ian Rankin is really good, try reading his Rebus novels there a good crime genre.

I haven't red any of Tess Gerretsen's books so I can't compare, sorry.

  8. I've never read books by the author that you mentioned, but I'd recommend Minette Walters. I have all of her books. You can read them in any order as the characters are different in each one, and so is the subject matter. I haven't found a bad one yet??
