I just found out I have to wait a year before my dental Insurance will pay for a crown. Does anyone know a dental insurance that would pay as soon as you receive the insurance?

  1. I believe any insurance will cover it once it kicks it.  Personally, I liked Delta Dental the best.

  2. GOOD LUCK!!!

I've been trying to find a health plan with good dental coverage since my insurance was dropped three years ago. It's virtually impossible to find a company that covers all the work you need done and a lot of them have loopholes. Meaning, they'll pull the tooth but won't replace it. They'll replace it, but won't crown it.

Why? Crowns are considered to be "cosmetic" and thus, not necessary.

So, my answer to you is this: Keep looking. And pray that the health insurance coverage in this country is changed. Here are some websites that might get you started:

    http://www.1800dentist.com

    http://www.www.dentalinsurance.com

If you do find anything, please let me know. I'm in the same boat as you. :(

    Good luck...

    Jon
