Good Dinner Menu for Wedding in November?

Hey guys

I am trying to plan my wedding & was wondering what are some good things to put on a dinner menu in Nov. after Thanksgiving so no turkey

  1. Yes, people are going to be sick of turkey, ham, and maybe even chicken. Not to mention these are really pretty ordinary wedding foods. How about going Italian and serving some type of pasta? Keep the usual like salad, rolls with butter (or french bread), and of course your wedding cake!


  2. beef and fish are good choices.  If you have the budget, and it's being catered, filet & shrimp are a good combination:)  Otherwise, Beef Stroganoff is fairly inexpensive and Shrimp KeBobs over rice .... green salad  ... fruit salad

  3. I think that if you personalize the meal it would be a nice touch.  What do you and your groom really like to eat?  Or what was a memorable meal you both shared?  And then plan the wedding meal from there.  Weddings have gone way to generic and "cookie cutter".  People getting married need to go back to the wedding being about them.

  4. Baked Chicken, Broiled Fish, Beef & a Veggie/Pasta type Platter are all good choices for the Reception. It should cover all people-types!
