dawn and hot water,and make sure to dry them, if you dont want the streaks!

For the dishwasher use Walmart brand, its excellent and inexpensive.  If liquid is what you are looking for, all of them do a pretty good job.  Buy whats on sale.

For the dishwasher Cascade Complete is excellent, but for hand washing and other cleaning around the home, Dawn is the best liquid dishwashing detergent. I've never had streaks with Dawn and I've always air dried my dishes, but the chemicals in your water may have something to do with the streaks, so just hand dry them if they persist.

Most dishwasher detergents work very well like cascade. Using rinse agent like jet dry is just as important though because it reduces the surface tension of water and helps prevents streaking.
