I'm looking for a nice central hotel in Dublin. It has to be fairly close to any theatres and shops. Also a good price wouldn't hurt as well.

Thanks!

  1. jurys in christ church is a good one

  2. The most central ones are more expensive. I recommend hotels such as The Mespil or The Mc Eniff Grand Canal Hotel. They are about 10 minutes walk from the centre and are really nice budget 3 star hotels. Otherwise look at the websites below:

    www.visitdublin.com

    www.discoverireland.ie

  3. the aston hotel is my very favorite- cozy, not too expensive, breakfast and residents bar available. it's located on aston quay, right near the o'connell bridge. it's excellent!

otherwise, the blooms hotel (someone else mentioned that)...is pretty reasonable and located in temple bar.

  4. There's a lot of good tips here to help you.

Probably what you need to do is locate the best priced hotel for what you want. This site has a sort tool which lets you arrange by price , location , star rating , last minute or year round :

    Dublin : http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.uk/Irela...

    City Centre :http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.uk/Irela...

You should find what you want from here.

  5. bewleys (next to the four seasons) handy for cenre taxi service available at front desk...

all rooms ..single double or double delux 99.00 euros per nite....

  6. stay in the jurys inn or bewleys

    both are great hotels

  7. Temple Bar Hotel right next to Buskers bar on Fleet St. Cheap as youll find in the centre with out going to a hostel. Theres plenty of Hostels in Temple bar aswell if you want to go that way, good one called St. Oliver John Gogertys on the same street.

  8. anywhere near the temple bar area is good

  9. Recommend staying at one of the Jurys hotels.

they have a website you can check out for locations central to where you want to visit

    http://www.jurys.com/

  10. I just stayed at this hotel and had a great time!

    It is budget friendly

  11. This same question was asked a few days ago.

    Here, try this site: http://lahotels.rediffblogs.com

  12. Latchford's of Baggot Street is awesome. I stayed there alone for 70 euro last summer, last minute. It's not far from St. Stephan's Green and Grafton Street, and it's quiet. It's in an old Georgian building. My room had cathedral ceilings, a fireplace, a kitchenette, and a sitting area. They rock.

Look for rates through hotelschart.com, or their web site,

    www.latchfords.ie

  13. Blooms hotel is brilliant, its in temple bar- close to all the shops, clubs, theatres etc and the price is good to. they also have a club underneath the hotel- you cant hear the noise from the rooms though. have a lovely time

  14. Hi, We stayed at Wynns Hotel it was ideally situated just off O'Connell St. It cost us approx 95euros each (payable by the room) for 2 nights B&B. It is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff.

  15. jurys on parnell street is idealy located and they do great special offers

  16. why not use tripadvisor? great site. I would agree with all the answers so far though. Temple Bar is very central but it's full of stag nights.
