Good Eats Near the TJ - San Ysidro Border...?

If you are looking for some good authentic food, you have to try the tacos.  Tijuana is famous for them.  My favorite tacos are sold in fracc. Soler on the side of the road but I swear they are awesome!!  Now if you are looking for more of a resturant, then try el "***** Durazo".  The food is good, but they have a live band so its really loud and it gets really packed with people.  Anyone you ask will know where it is since it is not far from the border.  They also have valet parking which is a relief because I hate the parking situation in TJ.  If you want a quiet place, go to Playas de Tijuana and there is a nice  restuarant behind the commerical mexicana.  You can´t miss it.  

If you go a little further you could have lobster by the beach....

in the las americas Plaza theres a restaurant that they just opened called "Iron Wok Asian Bistro" wich is not expensive but its not cheap so its pretty good. asian food  the phone there its [phone]. if you feel like some mexican food theres Achiote phone number [phone] this restaurant is alright, im mexican so i know alot of mexican food and i guess thats why i didn't really like this restaurant but my friends did so its just a taste thing. To be honest theres not alot of good restaurants near san ysidro so i just kinda wanted to tell you the best ones around there. You can also try cocos but that pretty much it. hope that it helps
