Conspiracy theorists want SO BADLY to believe there's some big sinister secret thing out there that they know and others don't. It makes them important. Our government couldn't keep a bl*w j*b secret. What in h**l makes you think they could get thousands of people to participate in a scam, with absolutely no one saying anything. Give me a break.

The History Channel and the Discovery Channel have devoted a lot of air time to UFOs. Now you tell me that MSNBC is jumping into the pool. There must be a big untapped market for the sale of tin-foil hats.

I hold no favor with any of the conspiracy theories. Most of them are started by people who know nothing about the topic or are captives of features like You Tube and other video sites on the web. On a personal note, I've had a bellyful of the bunch which asserts that no plane hit the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. I lost two people I knew who were on that plane. That brings up another characteristic of the conspiracy theory crowd. They are completely oblivious to the effect their off-the-chart theories might have on others who have suffered some personal loss  from some tragic event. Delusional behavior must kill off empathy somehow.
