I want to go fishing, and I live in Oakland, CA. Does anyone know where some good fishing spots are in the area?

  1. Lake Chabot is nice and relaxing.

    If you want to fish in the bay, I suggest you go to San Francisco and fish off the Aquatic Park pier.  Lake Merritt only has minnows.
