Question:

Good Glass Water Pitcher ?

so more and more we keep hearing about how it's not good to really "re-use" plastic water bottles. I've pretty much stopped buying plastic water bottles, and stuck to my Tap via Brita Filtered Water... But... I have been transferring my Brita Water to a 2 liter Plastic bottle that I bought with water in it to start off, but have been re-using it with my filtered water.

I think I need to now stop doing that and start using some kind of safe Glass Water Pitcher, and wondered if anyone had found a good reliable one they like, was looking a this one:

opinions on this one or have you found one you like better somewhere else ?

  1. if you change your mind from glass, how about Tupperware, they make those containers in all sorts of sizes and should be safer than the thin plastic bottles you are talking about re-using from the grocery store.  Ceramic can work too, but try tupperware stuff, they are at the grocery store and Target and all and are pretty economical and durable too.

  2. I use Sigg bottles. You can order them online and sometimes they sell them at outdoor or sports stores. They are metal and non leaching.  I love it! They have awesome designs on the sides as well.  They run between 20 and 30 dollars. Well worth the money!

  3. they're nice.

    they're pretty.

    they're heavy.

they break if you drop 'em in the sink.

    no, i don't know a good alternative.

that's why i still reuse my water bottles.

    maybe not forever though.
