  1. Hey!  You need to buy clubs that you find yourself comfortable with, and that fits your game. There is no point of buying brand new clubs if you don't play well with them. First of all, before you buy anything, you need to try them and see if u feel comfortable with them. If so, you should ask a pro for help, and he will give his opinion, according to your swing, height, strength, age, and your play. If you still are sitting there with a few options you should choose the clubs you think look nice, because confidence is the most important factor (doesn't matter if they fit your game, u NEED to peg up on the1.  tee with good confidence).

I personally like the design of Callaway, and it gives me confidence. They also fit my level, which makes this an easy choice (I have x-18 now, but would love to try out the Forged).

    Good Luck with new clubs!

  2. GET TITLEIST CLUBS! They are quality clubs. I would recommend any of their recent drivers and fairways, (and they have a wicked hybrid), and their irons are just amazing. They combine playablity with forgiveness. I would go with the AP1's from this year or any of their cb irons. The vokey wedges are unmatched in spin and playability, and well, scotty cameron putters are top of the line.

Now go out and get those clubs!

  3. I have the first set they ever made of the Nike Slingshots and i have been hitting those for about a year or two and they are EXCELLENT!

  4. The best golf clubs are the ones that are properly fitted for your game, regardless of manufacturer, make or model. Go to a well-stocked pro shop that does club fitting, or to a reputable clubmaker/clubfitter.

  5. As stated before TRY THEM BEFORE YOU BUY THEM.

    Golf clubs are an investment.

Here's a few I tested that I thought were worth of mention this season.

Cobra S9, Cobra UFi, Callaway X20, Nike slingshot 4d

A couple months ago I bought the Cobra S9's and i'm not going to lie, I love them.  They look sick, and have great forgivness and don't lack playability either.  Google cobra S9 and look at some pics of them.  Then go try them out.  If they're not your flavor then give any of the others a try!

    Good luck!

  6. It is very easy to decide, first of all you have to understand the principals, the good or the bad is the Indian not the arrow, so go take a look at all the clubs and the ones that visually you like the best, buy them!!

  7. Try at least 5 different sets that are in line with your skill level.  I see familiar faces responding and I agree with them, get professionally fitter.  As far as the Slingshot Irons go, I would skip them.  They are good a far as forgiving and distance is long, but they are impossible to control.  I am a big Callaway guy, so I would recommend the Fusions, Bertha's, and if you are an 80's type golfer, the X-20's.  If you're not into Callaway the Ping Rapture aren't a bad set, Titleist irons are nice, but definitely more for the accomplished golfer.

  8. Give the Callaway X20's a try

  9. Take your time. Golf clubs ain't cheap. Don't buy til' you try. Any good purveyor of golf equipment will let you take a demo club to the course. I don't care what anyone says if they don't look good at address don't buy 'em.

  10. Everyone is going to have their own favorites and what they like.  Here's a good review site to check out

    http://www.stixxreviews.com

You can get opinions but in the end try out different clubs and see what feels best to you.

  11. I hit the slingshot 4d at a demo day and really liked it. Others

here suggested the slingshot oss as it is older but just as good and cheaper. you can buy them at ***** Sporting Goods.

  12. 'What's good is what feels good to you. Try a bunch and compare the ones you like side by side. Take your time.
