  1. sociology, criminology, and psychology are the ones at my school, and the ones that i am going to take :]

  2. If your school offers any classes which focus on culture, society or psychology then take them.

  3. I am going to a University now for Sociology, and I wish that I would have taken more history classes in high school. It would make things really easy if I understood more history to be able to apply to sociology theories and papers.

  4. I am a sociologist and College prof. - Sociology has many facets and what you should focus on depends on your larger goals. The most successful have a few things in common - to be specific to your answer I suggest Statistics for sure, psych and soc classes , any classes in culture, critical thinking - logic, etc.

A great sociologist knows how to ask questions in an "out of the box" manner - critical thinking - so you can find out what you are seeking, then they must analyze the responses - stats. then they must write up - in scientific fashion - not creative writing so a writing class esp in something like technical writing. Overall mostly any soc classes you can - Stats, then anything dealing with human behavior and critical thinking.

  5. The best place to find this information is the college you plan to attend.

  6. English will be more important than math. Go AP in English.
