Question:

Good Idea and Help??

I decided that for our Church Christmas Talent Show, I'm going to write a skit for all the little kids (5 grade and under) to do about the Story of Christmas. Kids my age (I'm in 8th grade, so I'd have our Confirmation Group - 6th - 8th grade) would help out by either video taping, making costumes/props, or just helping manage it. So, I'm going to write up the script, then have people sign up to help out or for a part and we'd meet on a specific night for like 2-3 weeks to practice, while other people work on costumes/props. Then we perform on our night for all the people who come (and I will direct/play the keyboard for sound affects) - do you think this is a good idea?? Also, if you could, tell me the full story of Christmas so I don't get it wrong. Thanks!!!!!!

  1. the confirmation class members should already know the christmas story  after all they are confirming their faith and belief so i would suggest you open up your bible and read matthew mark luke and john in the new testament  you need someone to play the part of joseph thats jesus father (earthly)  mary-( jesus mother) and of course the main leading part jesus  you need three wise men so that is six people so far  the story i want you to read it yourself  it is too long to explain here and if you havent read it ---it is about time you did   good luck and god bless you

  2. it's for church. you got a bible right?

  3. Very cool. Our church has contemplated for the last year over doing a skit for the Christmas show. Since I do the keyboarding this would be the greatest idea. Defiently go for it.

Here is a link to a site that is totally reliable and tells the story of Christmas
