  1. Chutneys on lower Queen Ann Hill - Opposite the Stationery Store.

  2. Go to cedars.  They are the best and cant be beat.  Rated #1 on citysearch too

  3. The Cedars in the U-District area has always been a fave of mine and quite a popular place!  It's on 50th and Brooklyn, across from the Safeway.  They have excellent food from delicious chai to fantastic savoury coconut curry to the great simplicity of their nan!  This place is good!  They've got pretty good samosas, too!  Butter chicken?  Great!  Baklava is good!

  4. Here is a list of the best in the city...

    India Bistro

    Mayuri Foods & Video

    Mayuri Indian Cuisine

    15400 NE 20th St., No. 6

    Bellevue, WA

  5. These two are my favorites:

    Spice Route Restaurant

    2241 148th Ave Ne

    Bellevue, WA

    (425) 643-4144

    Kabab House

    8202 Greenwood Ave N

    Seattle, WA

    (206) 782-3611

  6. I tried Cedars for the first time a few months ago and I was really impressed.  My boss is from Pakistan and shares his food with us a lot, so I ordered the Briani and it was excellent!

Anyway, my boss reccomends Shalimar (also in the U-District) and Kabob Palace (in Overlake) though I haven't had a chance to eat there yet.  My favorite though has to be India Gate Cafe, which has a really good lunch buffet.  It's just off I-90 in Eastgate.  Best Naan bread ever!
