  1. I'm in the same boat as you as far as how I shoot. I had a mix match hand me down set of clubs which didn't promote hitting the ball uniformly. I recommend the Adams GT 500 clubs for game improvement. The club faces are beefier to promote a more solid contact. The best part though is that these are going for 200 bucks. So if you are just starting out, like me and want to improve your game and save a little dough, these clubs are for you!

  2. I have the taylormade r7 draw irons, which i love.  I had been hitting a small fade for quite sometime and this really has been helping me out.  Now if your looking for something with more forgiveness then try the cgb max irons also from taylormade those are all forgiveness, but the regular r7 irons are not a bad fit either.

  3. try mizuno mx19's they are ideal for someone of your ability they are very forgiving they look good and they won't cost you the earth

  4. If you're going to spend any amount of money on clubs (i.e., not buying them off the discount rack) then do yourself a favor and look into custom clubs. They not any more expensive than the major brands, and are of equal or superior quality. Plus, they're all custom fit to your build and playing style, so it's much easier to find clubs you will hit well.

I use the Evolution set from a company called KZ Golf. I'd put these clubs up against anything on the market. See if they have a fitter in your area and at least go and check them out.

I like the r7...but most people prefer the Callaway.

  6. i think you would be perfect for some nike slingshots...they are really forgiving and they are easy to hit i highly reccomnd these....i've been playing golf for ten years and these have definitley been the most forgiving.

  7. Try the srixon brand'

  8. The Nike Slingshot Tour irons are really nice. They are very smooth and easy to swing.
