  1. Ask in Ship Street, although to be honest there are loads of good restaurants in Brighton

  2. Sorry cant help you with Brighton, but if you are ever in Kent, then you really must try Riva in Gravesend.

Its just opened (01st November 2007), its sited on the oldest surviving cast iron pier in the world and it absolutely awsome.

It has a really cool bar at the front of the Pier and a fantastic Italian Restaurant over the Thames at the back of the Pier.

Take a look at the link below.

    Hope this helps.

  3. I was going to say Al Forno's, but I've just tried to find the address for you but......it's gone! Closed! No!!!

The other one I like is called Latin in the Lanes, really nice fish and pasta and a pretty dining room, quite romantic!

  4. fat leos is good and you get loads for your money

not far from the lanes and its really  nice in there to plus they have a  non smoking section which is good

  5. La Capannina at Madeira Place is very good, very traditional old-school italian which has changed little in decor or menu over the years, but still serves very nice, non-pretentious and honest italian food.

Also, if you don't mind heading a bit further out Leonardo's in Hove is reputed by locals to be the best Italian restaurant in the area.

  6. TRY THIS PLACE:-

    Pinocchio

    22 New Road,

    Brighton,

    BN1 1HJ

  7. ASK is fantastic.  Been there at different times and with 6yr old daughter. Staff and food standards are consistently good
