Question:

Good Makeup For A Thirteen Year Old Girl?

I am going into ninth grade next year, and I will be in high school next year. I wanted to start wearing a little bit more makeup. I want to go for the natural look. Right now, I wear pressed powder to cover blemishes and chap stick and lip gloss. I have pale skin, bright blue eyes, and my skin is usually clear, with a few zits that pop up now and again. What kind of makeup would you recommend for me? Remember, it has to lok natural. Any tips? I'll pick you for best answer if you give me a good answer!

  1. okay dont wear liquid foundation. wear powder. i reccomend N.Y.C loose powder foundation..... for a really cheap brand, your skin looks like a babys bottom. SERIOUSLY!  um i wear that and mascara bottom eyeliner and lipgloss tinted by the way from hilloster in mango

  2. I wouldn't wear makeup until I had to if I were you, but I suppose maybe an eyeshadow in a neutral color, like pink or pale gold, and you could curl your lashes with an eyelash curler to make them look longer, then use a brown mascara, because black looks too harsh.

You could use a small amount of powder blush (that could be your eye shadow, also).

But, in my opinion, a person is lucky if they don't have to wear makeup.

Guys usually like the natural look, too.

EDITED:  If you end up using mascara, you have to wipe ALOT of the mascara off of the wand, otherwise it goes on in big clumps.  Just thought you might need to know this.

Also, a person doesn't need makeup to feel confident.

I can see wanting to be clean and neat, but confidence comes from the inside and knowing who you are as a person, not what you put on your face.  :)

  3. i suggest brown tones for eye shadows(brown will make your blue eyes pop)

curl lashes and use brown mascara

    concealer for blemishes

    lip gloss-light pink

    and a little bronzer

    or

    peach blush

and bown liner if u want to

but white liner will be better for school and it makes your eyes look awake

  4. i think you should try a little concealer under the powder(i use Rimmel London Blemish Stick) and you should try some blush(pinkish color). You should also get a little mascara(brown or clear), and some eyeshadow that makes your eye color pop(i think browns pinks or golds) DONT go blue though(in my opinion)..you could also try some colored lipgolss, a nice light pink color or for a darker look that lasts longer I use lip stain then a gloss over it...good luck!

  5. go with just the concealer to cover your blemishes, then a rose color blush, and some very light eyeshadow, and a pretty lip gloss. if you want to look natural, don't wear anything! Remember, less is more!

  6. I'd say a light foundation to cover blemishs also a brown-black (don't get black because it look really heavy when you put it on) mascara and don't put too much on just to lengthen your eyelashes. A light colored eyeshadow, maybe a light brown or pink, also clear lip gloss.

  7. So the make up you wear on your face is great but i suggest some blush in a pink or peach color. your lips are fine but i have one lip gloss sugestion... cover girl wetslicks amazemint lipgloss in pink positive or everythings rosy, this will make them shiny and the mint is really refreshing it will make your breath seem like it smells good (wether it does or not lol)! Then for your eyes get a bronze eyeshadow. I use one its a 3 kit one and its called shimmering sands its really pretty i use the middle color over my whole eye then at the top near the crease i use the darkest color! then for your eye leashes use a black brown mascara so its not as harsh black and looks more natural (but if you have black hair use black) i like cover girl lash-blastt itseparatess them for a very pretty natural cool buy this before you go back to school because the wand is big and youll want to get used to it, but if you want long lashes use covergirl magnafying mascara finish with blackbrown (black if your hair is black) eyeliner use it on your waterline (the skin above your bottom eyelashes) if you want your eyes to look smaller. But use it below the lashes if you want your eyes to look bigger.  Good luck and have fun in highschool! :)

  8. sounds good to me...don't over do..it looks fake when the girls over do...mom of 4 girls

  9. Im pulling the natural look of and all i do is that with a little blush (not fake) and a light mascara, not heavy though. and after you put it on take a needle and seperate out the clumps, so they look long and natural

  10. Well, i would start off with using the same stuff you are now, except you might want to add a little bit of mascara, in dark brown, (more natural) and i would do a very light peachy pink whitesh shadow, maybe a light sandy brown, maybe with a little shimmer, and a tad bit a a very light and subtle pink blush to add color to your face. the brown shadow would be your best bet, because sandier browns tend to make blue eyes look more noticeable. Good luck and have fun.

  11. I'm starting high school too. I'm probably going to wear a little eyeliner some days (not to dark) and just eyeshadow other days, both along with chapstick and sometimes foundation.
