Good Metro North station to use on a Saturday to Grand Central?

Hello,

I am seeking recommendations of good metro north stations in NY to use for taking a day trip into the city on a Saturday (into Grand Central Station). I will be driving from upstate NY.

My main requirement is easy parking. I am open to leave from almost any station.... just curious to hear your reasoning for the station you prefer.

White Plains.

There is a large commerical parking garage next to the train station.

trust me, it's impossible to find parking in the train station where i live. FAirfield county.

I think it's the same for upstate ny

Maybe newburg depending on where you are coming from?  its out of the major traffic zones and should have reasonable parking..
