Good Music Software??

Hey,

I'm looking for a music program that will allow me to put recordings/sounds over each other....like channels.

Do you know of any free programs that do this...they can be as simple as h**l as long as they have the "channels"

If you know of any non-free ones, please mention those too.

Thanks

  1. Audacity is great for what you want. Try GarageBand for the Mac if you use Mac. Audacity is also compatible with the Mac! GarageBand is included in all new MacBooks as part of the software bundle iLife '08.
