Question:

Good Paintball Mask???

I'm planning on buying a JT Spectra mask for Hollywood Sports play. One of the most annoying things that I have ever experienced is fog during play. Is this a good mask to get? I dont want to spend more than $50 bucks and i could probably get some anti fog if needed. THANKS.

  1. From looking at the ratings for that mask, i think that you should get it, it has 5/5, and i rarely see those types of ratings. That is a good mask.

  2. JT makes some great masks.  The only reason why I no longer use any of their goggles is because changing the lens is a major pain in the butt.  But, the nice thing about the JT Spectra is that you can add JT's Vortex II goggle fan to further prevent your lenses from fogging up.

Personally, I was using V-Force Grill but switched to Vents Cylus thermals and never turned back.  It is almost a third less (~ $35) than the Grill and the field of vision, comfort, and performance is phenomenal.  I have not had any issues with my goggles fogging up.

  3. that mouth grill is gona make you eat a lot of paint. I personally use a proto switch mask with an antifog lense, and it works awsome!

  4. If you have the money, i suggest you get the Empire E-Vents.

I have them and they NEVER fog. they are perfect and i love them.

    comfortable and perfect.
