  1. if you get more than one and you socialize them properly (and have a big enough cage)rats might be able to fit your needs, but really you should spend a little more time with any critters you get, they will need attention for socialization as babies so they know you wont hurt them....

  2. there is a rabbit but they might be a bit to expensive or there is a gini pig but also  there is a hammster but they can be a bit lazy and boring so i thought well i have two gerbles and even tho there nown to bite as long as you give then time to ajust to your smell and get used to you and you treet them right then they dont bite but love being petted.also i shut my door and pick up wirers and let them have a runaround in my room. but i only do that coz i no there is no howls they can get in to so i think they are your best bet. i love mine

    ps sorry bout spelling

  3. I think that a parakeet would be a good pet for you, i have one and it does all of these things...

    1.they are affordable

    2.they let you pet them

    3.they sit on your shoulder/head

4.they are pretty clean and cages are easy to clean

5.fun to have and original, nobody has them unlike rabbits of hamsters

6.low maintenance, have to fill feeder with seed every 3 to 4 days and give clean water every other day.  when cleaning cage (about once a week)just line the floor with a couple fitted sheets of newspaper.

7.they dont smell or need baths or anything

8.Easy to find, every pet store has them

My parakeet is a really fun pet to have

maybe you should look into them...

    good luck

  4. a bunny . there  cheap and stay in there cages all the time not high  energy a little. I have a friend u haz 17 and it takes mabye 20 min. to take care of all of then .

  5. Get a couple of rats.  They are incredibly social and love to be pet and held and play with.  They even can learn some tricks (like litter training) and play games.  Even though they get a bad rep, don't bite that often, especially if they're played with regularly.  Rats are VERY fastidious (they clean themselves all the time).  As far as cost, rat chow which is a complete diet isn't all that expensive.  They also love treats like vegetables and fruits that you probably have in the house already.  Toys can be very inexpensive (like empty toilet paper rolls) or be really excessive (like rat condos).  That part is really up to you.

  6. hamsters are good but they bite sometimes. so maybe a rabbit, they are really nice, and can stay in a cage. or a chinchilla! they are the cutest things on the planet, and the are the sorftest too : ) but chinchillas can range from 50-500 bucks, soo.. i dont know, but dont get a rat, they can truly give you diseases and im not just saying that. they really can

  7. A bunny definatly.  I had a bunny and she was the best.  If you get them young and handle them a lot then they'll let you pick them up and pet them whenever.  I got mine for free from a breeder with i don't even know how many he had lol.  My rabbit never bit anyone.  She bit a hole through my friend's skirt once and nibbled on your clothes sometimes when she had to go to the bathroom as a sign to put her down.  But she used to l**k me like crazy it was really cute.

Rabbits are great.  Some say they have the personality of dogs and of cats but don't bark or meow at you all the time.  Rabbits don't even make sound unless they're in a lot of pain or are extremely scared.

If you feed them twice a day and let them run around for a little while each day for exersize and pick them up and cuddle with them and love them, they'll have a great personality.  Having a great rabbit is also great for you because it is said they reduce stress level.

    #1 I hope I helped

and #2 mini- lops are awesome

  8. I think a rabbit would fit your requirments nicely, they don't cost too much (most of the price depends on the cage), I've never had one that bites, are quiet happy with only a little play time and if you ask to look at them when your picking one you can be sure to get one that will be really frendly

a guine pig would also work, but I've found that they have very weak immune systems and can get sick very easily

  9. A rabbit

  10. How 'bout a pet rock....Doesn't sound like you want the responsibility that comes with something living.  LOL...seriously, maybe some type of reptile??  They aren't very warm and sensitive though...

  11. a ferrettt.!

  12. Hamsters are really good pets because they're cheap and don't smell too much like other rodents. They are nocturnal and will do most of their playing while you are asleep. You would be fine letting him out for an hour or so a day. They almost never bite, but when you first bring him home, he may try to nibble just because he's nervous. Also, if you wake him up while he's sleeping, he may get a little cranky and try to bite but they're mostly very friendly and don't bite often. They are great to handle and don't mind being petted. They often like to waddle up and down your arm and are very social when you play with them. Before you get a hamster, you'll need a cage, water bottle, food, bedding, food dish, liittle toys to nibble on, a wheel if it doesn't come included in the cage, and possibly treats. After that, you just need to buy more bedding and food once in a while. Make sure you get a good sized cage, my hamster grew out of his. Good Luck :)

  13. Guinea Pigs are great caged animals. I have two of them and are great pets. They don't need much attention. Just going up to the cage and saying hi is sometimes all they need. Clean the cage once a week and you shouldn't have any problems. I never had any health problems with mine. They love treats and will eat any type of veggies or fruit.

  14. Hmm...Well it depends on your price range...A bunny fits you but they need about 1 hour 30minutes-2hours of play time outside...Also they cost about $250.....There is also Ferrets but they cost like $300.00.....How about a Guinea Pig or Rat?If you decide a Bunny you can chat me.....Just start up a new chat and where it says to: write in lilmizzy10@yahoo.com and say something and we can start chatting about bunnys =]

  15. GET A RAT!!!

    I LOVE my rats!

*They are super smart and can learn tricks

*They are super clean and constently groom themselves

    *They are super sweet

*You can keep them in a cage

    *They only live 2-5 years

*They only cost about $7 each

    *They can be litter trained

*They love to just sit on your shoulder and hang out

You really should get two, which BTW is no harder to have than one. But they do get lonley so they need a friend unless you can have the rat out 8-10 hours a day.

My rats have never bitten me and I have had them for 2 years. Do not get the feeder rats- make sure it is a pet and you should get it from a breeder so that you know it has been handled since birth.

I LOVE my ratties! Good Luck!

  16. I think you should get a hamster, but it's a certain type of hamster they truly are the nicest of hamsters. They're are european hamsters they are sold in mostly any petstore and they dont bite and they're so loving, they may try to nibble, but they usually never break the skin I think you'd really enjoy it, and you can get a little ball for them to roll around in Im sure you'll love it.

  17. a rabbit or small rodent a small breed like neverland dewarf or mini lop are good for your life style rabits
