I'm planning a trip to Japan next summer with my brother and sister along with a friend so like four people. I'm not quite sure where to stay in Japan for a month. I was thinking about like the Sakura-house or the hostel from before i stayed but not sure if its a good deal or not. I remember last time i stayed i had a room to myself but shared a bathroom and kitchen with several other people. I think it was Sakura House also

I was thinking of these 2 sites but i dont kno if there are any other better ones

  1. Why stay in one location for a month? If you're going for a month, you should take advantage of the time, and travel the entire country.

There are lots of inexpensive places to stay, such as youth hostels, budget hotels, capsule hotels, ryokans etc.

Youth hostels tend to be cheaper than the Sakura hotel in Tokyo.

I've stayed there too, as well as in the youth hostel at Yoyogi koen, and the Hotel New Koyo in Minami-Senju.

Tip: to travel inexpensively, purchase an exchange voucher for a 21-day JR Rail Pass at an authorised travel agency near you.

This pass will allow you to travel, without having to pay more, on the NEX from Narita to Tokyo, all JR subways in Tokyo, all JR buses and local trains, as well as all Shinkansen(except Nozomi), and the ferry to Miyajima.

It also allows you to get a discount at JR and Japan Airlines Hotels(but they are expensive) and at some major attractions.
